The Urban Studies Minor gives you an interdisciplinary understanding of cities, communities, and urban life. You\u2019ll study how social, economic, environmental, and political factors shape urban spaces and learn to analyze and address the challenges facing modern cities. The program covers topics such as urban planning, community development, public policy, and the relationship between humans and the physical urban environment. This minor pairs well with majors in geography, sociology, political science, sustainability, business, or public health. It\u2019s ideal if you\u2019re considering careers in urban planning, community organizing, public administration, nonprofit work, or graduate study in urban and regional policy.
