Scheduled to open this Fall, the playground will include a creative approach to inclusive and synergistic play.<div class=\"prpl-row\"><div class=\"prpl-column\">\n<figure class=\"responsive-image-holder wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"mlt-responsive-image\" data-original-image=\"\/art-and-design\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/91\/2019\/09\/overview-shot.jpg\" src=\"\/responsive-media\/cache\/art-and-design\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/91\/2019\/09\/overview-shot.jpg.0.1x.generic.jpg\" alt=\"YMCA Playground rendering\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/div>Buddy Evans, President and CEO of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ YMCA speaks on behalf of the project saying that the YMCA donors were very supportive and Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ were very excited to jump on board; it was a \u201ctremendous community effort\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In an era where obesity is becoming more of an issue for children, Evans also commends the playground\u2019s goals of encouraging active play for children. This theme is chosen because of its reference to color, enchantment , exploration and discovery.
