The Department of Art & Design at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ in partnership with Studio Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ is excited to announce the opening of Launchpad II, a juried exhibition featuring the thesis work of graduating students.<\/p>\n
Launchpad II will showcase a range of works from the Visual Arts, Illustration, Fashion Design & Merchandising, Visual Communication Design, and Product Design programs. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience a compelling sampling of the talent of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ students showing thought-provoking artworks that explore a diverse range of themes that visually communicate cultural issues.<\/p>\n
Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ is proud to continue a partnership with Studio Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ, an inclusive, nationwide non-profit organization exhibiting, professional and emerging artists and others interested in the visual arts. The mission of the organization is to promote culture, education, equality, and tolerance through art. Located in Downtown Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ, this exhibition is sure to be a highlight of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ art scene and is an exciting opportunity for the students, art enthusiasts, and the general public.<\/p>\n

\u201cStudio Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ has always believed in the importance of collaboration, partnerships, and community and we are delighted to again welcome Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ into our main gallery at 127 Bloomfield Avenue for their thesis show, “Launchpad II”, an exhibition of student thesis work. Launchpad will run from April 30th to May 10th. The opening reception will take place on Wednesday, May 1st from 6pm-9pm.
\nVisitors are welcome to attend and enjoy the artwork, meet the artists, and celebrate the exhibition with some light refreshments. Admission to the exhibition is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
Studio Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ is committed to providing access to the arts for all with the hopes that this exhibition will inspire and engage visitors from all backgrounds.<\/p>\n
