You are invited to an open dress rehearsal on Saturday, December 5 at 3pm. The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Chorale (165-voice symphonic choir) will perform the tri-state premiere of Alzheimer’s Stories<\/em>, composed by Robert Cohen, with libretto by Herschel Garfein. Alzheimer\u2019s Stories<\/em> is an uplifting work that acknowledges the devastating effects of the disease but also focuses on hope and the strength of the human spirit.<\/p>\n

Alzheimer\u2019s patients & their caregivers\/families\/friends are particularly welcome.

Special guest Cantori New York performs Prophezeiungen<\/em>, an a capella cycle by Siegfried Thiele, and The New Amorous World<\/em>, a cantata for chorus, speaker, two horns, and harp by Lembit Beecher. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Chorale presents Alzheimer\u2019s Stories, an uplifting work that acknowledges the devastating effects of the disease and focuses on hope and the strength of the human spirit. Composed by Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ resident Robert Cohen, with libretto by Herschel Garfein, Alzheimer\u2019s Stories features guest artists Adriana Zabala (mezzo-soprano), Keith Phares (baritone), and a 14-member chamber orchestra of professional instrumentalists.<\/p>\n

* The annual Crawford Concert is a free public performance supported by a generous grant from the Keating Crawford Foundation.
