The Center for Academic Success & Tutoring (CAST) is located in the Sprague Library room 138. CAST offers free , Peer Academic Coaching, and Academic Workshops to all students on campus. In addition, CAST supports student success in Academic Action and other special population groups on campus. The Center collaborates with academic and administrative departments to help students find their path to success at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ.
Hours of Operation
CAST will be following Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s Summer Schedule with Professional Staff available Monday to Thursday 8 am – 6 pm through August 6th. Limited tutoring will run from 10 am – 5 pm Monday to Thursday and can be found in Navigate Additional SI is also running. If you do not see your course supported or are unsure if we can assist, please email cast@montclair.edu for assistance.

Supplemental Instruction provides additional group instruction for students in especially difficult courses.
Workshops
Workshops provide non-subject academic help, like advice on fostering good study habits, taking notes in class and de-stressing before finals.
Our Center and team is certified by the National Tutoring Association (NTA) and College Reading & Learning Association (CRLA).
