September 19: Luis Alberto Urrea, author of The Devil’s Highway

On September 19, 2013, Luis Alberto Urrea, best-selling author of The Devil’s Highway and The Hummingbird’s Daughter, will speak in the University Hall 7th floor Conference Center at 7:00 p.m.
The Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ community is invited to attend this exciting event. Urrea will speak about his experiences researching and writing The Devil’s Highway, a critically acclaimed nonfiction book which addresses issues such as migration, immigration, and its related historical context; social class; exile, identity, and family; economic and sociological impacts of human movement; citizenship; and much more.
A book signing will follow.
