Profile

Dr. Kate Nealon is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ. She is a Child Language Board Certified (BC-CLS) and ASHA certified speech-language pathologist (SLP) with extensive clinical experience working with children and adults in medical settings.

At Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ, she explores interprofessional and clinically relevant research questions centered on the influence of impaired motor speech skills on both language acquisition during development and language recovery.

Dr. Nealon earned a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University of Virginia and a Ph.D. from Teachers College, Columbia University.
