Honoring Those Who Serve Us<\/a><\/h2>\n

As a military-friendly campus, Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ supports more than 330 military-affiliated students – some returning from deployment and others on active duty, including with the National Guard and Reserves. Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ honored our campus veterans with several events, including a flag raising ceremony, a barbecue and the opening of a veterans\u2019 lounge.<\/p>\n

In the coming year, the University will divide the College of Education and Human Services into two separate and distinct colleges, while also launching a new School of Computing. CHSS Professors Sangeeta Parashar and Maneesha Kelka brought Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill to campus for a Q&A to discuss public service and leadership<\/a>. Sherrill told students in the experiential learning course to use their passion to make life better for others.<\/p><\/div>
